"Scrooge lived in a gloomy suite of rooms, in a lowering pile of a building up a yard where it had so little business to be that one could scarcely help fancying it must have run there when it was a young house, playing at hide and seek with other houses and had forgotten the way out again."
Parson's Nose's annual celebration of the English language when we revel in Dickens' own words, the delicious description of Victorian London we skimmed in high school but now can enjoy over a cup of wine or cocoa...
Due To Popular Demand - we will be holding our reading 2 Weekends this December! Our new space is a bit smaller and this wonderful reading alway sells out. Don't wait to get your tickets!
PLEASE READ! As we settled into our new home, The Parson's Nose Abbey, we want to make sure there is as little confusion as possible. We have a few changes with our 2017-18 Season and those are highlighted for you below, for this event.
This event is 2 weekends now: December 9-10, and 16-17
Times have changed: Saturday nights are at 8pm, Sunday matinees at 3pm
There is a fixed cost to attend this event. $20 for Adults, $15 for Seniors, and $10 for Students
Our new home is smaller than our last space so don't wait to get tickets. When they're gone, they're gone!
Parking is available on the streets (check signs) and there is a parking garage right down the street.
We're so excited to bring each and every one of you into our new home in Pasadena. We know there will be a little adjustment for you - for us too! - but we hope you'll pull through with us while we create a wonderful creative home to explore some incredible literature.
